Competitive Asset Sales

Asset sales are often related to the rendition of professional services to our Clients.
We know sale costs must be efficient, sales must be prompt and prices must be optimized.

Sometimes traditional methods of offering assets for sale simply do not generate the interest needed to produce the highest and best offers. We try to help.

One approach we often urge is
DOMINALAW Group 's Sealed Bid method. Advertising is appropriate.  Potential purchasers submit sealed bids on assets for sale.  The bids are submitted to a post office box where we collect and review them with our Client. Before the sale, our Client completes and executes a formal Reserve Price Commitment Agreement which is placed in a sealed envelope, and held by confidence until just before bids are opened.

Bids must be submitted by a published deadline.  If the reserve price is met, the highest bidder is successful. If two bidders tie, they are allowed to compete for the property.  If the reserve is not met, the Seller has the right to negotiate with bidders at the top of the bidding range for the property.  The Seller has the final right to sell or not to sell the offered property.

This method helps to motivate bidders to start where they think fair market value really is, and it eliminates "bottom fishers" from the process.  The process assures fairness,  results in reliable bidding by informed persons, and generally requires a significant earnest money deposit with each bidder's bid.

Asset Listings

Our web site listing of assets for sale can include your land, machinery, or other assets. Send your listing details, in email or Word Document form, to
assetinfo@dominalaw.com
and we will post appropriate sale notices as space allows. Include: date and method of sale, place of sale,  assets offered, and terms.  No charge is levied for this service.
